Silk, Chiffon and Handworked Detail

Shireen Lakdawala’s Aleeza collection focuses on Luxury Pret designs with detailed embroidery across a varied mix of fabrics. Chiffon, soft silk, khaddi net and silk-based embroidered fabrics appear across the current selection. The colour palette moves from pastel blue, pink and peach to light grey, beige-brown and deeper green tones. 

Traditional handwork is a strong part of the collection, with pearls, sequins, crystals, gotta, resham, tilla, kora, dabka and mirror work appearing across different designs. The collection also covers several outfit styles, including long maxis, kalidars, peplum shirts and other embroidered shirt-based ensembles.

Chiffon Meets Detailed Embroidery

Chiffon appears across several Aleeza designs. Daisy Blue uses blue chiffon with hand embroidery, while Sosni combines pastel green chiffon with thread and sequin embroidery, gotta and pearl work, along with hand-embroidered velvet cuffs. Orchid uses chiffon with heavy sequin and thread embroidery, complemented by pearls, kora, dabka and sequins, with organza sleeves and cutwork.

From Soft Silk to Khaddi Net

Soft silk adds another texture to the collection. Saffron pairs soft silk with floral gotta embroidery and hand pearl work, while Kanwal uses a soft thread-embroidered fabric with rosettes, mirrors, crystals, pearls and sequins. Gul-Yas uses soft khaddi net with pearls, gotta, resham and tilla work, while Gul-Bahar combines khaddi net with silk panels, sequin embroidery, pearls, resham, tilla and mirror work.

Aleeza also offers different outfit forms within its Luxury Pret selection. Sosan is a peach-toned chiffon kalidar with pearls, floral pearl work, sequins and crystals, while Nargis uses chiffon for a long maxi with organza floral work, sequins, pearls and crystals.
