Shireen Lakdawala’s Casual Pret collection offers ready-to-wear pieces across silk, khaddi silk, raw silk, cotton and georgette. The current selection moves between bright shades such as orange, crimson, lime yellow and royal blue, along with softer tones including pastel blue, pale yellow and mint green. 

Hand block prints form a strong part of the collection, while other designs use Resham work, appliqué, lace, mirror work, cutwork and handmade tassels. The range includes shirts and coordinated sets, with several outfits pairing shirts with matching pants and dupattas in different fabrics and prints.

Khaddi Silk with Resham Work

Khaddi silk appears across several of the newer Casual Pret designs. Tess uses vibrant orange khaddi silk with Resham work and appliqué, paired with a pure soft organza dupatta. Aroa uses crimson khaddi silk with Resham work and appliqué, along with a two-tone medium silk dupatta. Zane combines khaddi silk with fabric appliqué and Resham work, finished with an organza dupatta featuring cutwork.

From Bright Prints to Soft Cotton

The collection also includes printed silk and cotton styles. Seresa uses blended raw silk with a lime yellow block print, while Sori pairs a pastel blue block-printed shirt and pants in blended raw silk with a sheer organza dupatta. 

Earlier designs include silk pieces with gold hand block prints, mirror work, scallop embroidery and handmade tassels. Cotton styles such as Indie, Gina and Sol use lace or appliqué details in softer colour palettes.
